Very nice pictures! You sure have some balls with the dark tinted taillamps, they look good and all but what about the cops? Is it not a big deal in Ohio? Have you run into any trouble?

ECHO, I haven't run into any trouble yet. This is the darkest set of lights I've ever had, though, so I guess we will see. :wink: The way I see it, mine are no darker than those GTS covers you see people using on their Chevy's.

Thomas, I could clear coat them and buff them out, but I'm just not sure if I want that look yet. I was also thinking about hitting my head lights with a light smoke to complete this look... so yeah, I'm undecided, but maybe.

Anyway the car looks real good. Those tails are pretty dark. I'd like to see how they light up but as long as they show red and turn signals to the distance requirement when on when they are 100% legal. :thumbsup:

I was wondering that too about the matte finish. I guess if you didn't take the housing apart and smoke from the inside you could go over it with a clear sealent that would leave it looking glossy from the outside.

I think the classiest way to do it would be to crack the housing open and film the inards with the nightshades.:clap:

No clear coat. It isn't necessary, although some would argue it is. IDK. Isn't as far as I'm concerned.
