Yeah, the drop was noticeable. I like it
Now hopefully the side skirts available in Canada will show up in the states. Then somewhere along the way I will get some nice 17" 5 spoke alloys and new rubber

That looks perfect for 15's!

Maybe just a hair lower in the rear would be nice.

Hows the ride?

Only got about 20 miles on it with the TRD stuff, but its not harsh at all. Firm, went over a railroad crossing on the way home, was fine. Still has a bit more body roll (but it is a tall car), maybe TRD will come out with a swaybar, and chassis brace. All in all, its just as nice as my Civic SI with the HFP (Honda Factory Perfomance) suspension, but not quite as point and shoot as the HFP car. The main thing I wanted to get rid of was the Yaw during a transition. Its was horrible, now improved, but not totally gone.
All in all, so far with the albiet short time I have had it, it is gonna be an improved commuter ride!!!

Before the install I could get my hand with the thumb folded out of the way (basically four fingers and hand) into the front wheel-well, now barely two fingers.

TireRack still has the sedan in the "see how it looks on your vehicle" part of its website, anybody else have a simular tool with the correct image (Hatch  )

Give it a few hundred miles, and it will settle even more.. just a tad, but it will settle more then it is now.

Wondered if anybody would notice, its actually a "Prancing Chicken"
Just glued it to a small magnet (that I got from a liquor store  ) and cut it out. Sprayed it with shelliac, but it can't handle much rain.

Got a little more miles on it with the TRD parts, I really like the improved handling. Once it "sets" in the turn, it is actually pretty flat thru the corners. I think the "yaw" I am feeling is the tall profile tires sidewalls flexing, so maybe with I get the 17 or 18's on it and a lower profile tire, it will be perfect!

Looks great — I love the "Prancing Chicken!"

I think red is probably the color I'd get if we decide to purchase a Yaris.

Originally I ordered online the TRD suspension/struts, springs, and rear mat from Champion Toyota. Waited 50+ days, then canceled. I walked into the Gainesville Ga dealer, and they said they could have them NOW!!!! The downside was I paid "full boat" retail, for the parts  Bottomline, I paid $1,100 for the suspension (struts/shocks and springs + rear mat) rear spoiler , including parts and installation.

how much better does these ride? Feels like a different car? Very bumpy?

I paid $800 for the suspension and I couldn't be happier. First of all, it is under warranty for 70k miles. Good luck finding that deal anywhere else. As far as how it rides, the Yaris has such a tight turning radius that you will have no problem pushing this car to its absolute limit in a turn. In fact, the first few times you try to get on it you'll probably end up surprising yourself. I can remember turning too hard and having to overcompensate, and in turn "drifting" in this thing when I first got it! There is little to no body roll... I would agree with the statement about the tire sidewalls being the culprit of the small amount you do get. The trick is to keep the revs up high in VVT-i territory... when you come to a turn you can easily accellerate throughout and get a nice 10-15 mph boost coming out of the apex. Make no mistake about it... the ride is extremely stiff and the car is lowered significantly. It doesn't feel like a different car... it IS a different car. I regularly bottom out hitting potholes and such. Just another excuse for a body kit later.

For those of you considering, think about this... I'm 21 and I can't afford to spit 800 bucks up for a suspension all at once... however, I can afford the extra few bucks a month I had to pay on my car payment. Just get it with the car off the lot and in essence you're financing a suspension. Pretty sweet deal for young tuner-crazed kids trying to pay off a car and college all at once.

The ride is much improved, at least for my taste's, the orginal ride was alittle to "springy", way too much body roll. Now its pretty flat, but I will eventually get a brace and anti-roll (sway) bars. As far "very bumpy", I don't think so, as a comparsion on a couple spots on my daily interstate drive there are some expansion joints for bridges. I go over at 70+, before the TRD parts, the car would bounce for a couple to three "cycles" before it settled down. TRD parts quashed the bounce

Sounds like the TRD spring and shocks will be my top item in my mod list.!

Is there a differernce between the red and white trd springs? or is it just that they come in two different colors?
