Tinting

Hello Everyone:

I'm planning on tinting my windows.
Can you guys please answer the following questions?

a. How much did you pay for tinting?
b. What brand of tint did they use?
c. Which shop did you go to?

a. if i remember right, i paid $280 with lifetime warranty

c. a shop that's Eclipse here in Sacramento.

I payed about 250 to tint my windows with lifetime warranty and I can roll down my windows the same day and everything is done to the edges.

...in Germany the price is around 230Euros (todays rate ~315USD) for the 3-door hatchback.
Comparing it to the US makes me sad... :cry:

I did read all the threads about tinting before opening this one.
The reason why I opened this thread was that I got three quotes here in O.C. that were around $250. Other quotes that I saw on this forum were much cheaper. That's why I opened this thread especially in the California section.
I honestly want to tint my windows but $250 sounds too expensive comparing to what other people are paying...
I just wanted to see if there are any good deals out here...

I got mine tinted last year and I payed $200 and I have the sedan (more windows than the LB) And it's the type that goes all the way up to the edges (better quality) I got it done here in Anaheim at a place by my house. My brother just got his done on his LB in Santa Ana for i believe $180 and it's the same good quality as mine! The place is called Harbor Motorsports...in Santa Ana.

actually sis, i got it done at al & ed's autosound cause thats where the dealer had my power windows/door locks installed...since there was a question about the power windows that cost me some time they discounted my tint to $100 :thumbup: it would have been around $165 if there hadn't been an issue with the windows...
