Seems pretty cool and with almost zero maintenance and no stops to the gas station. Kinda pricey though, but a lot cheaper than any electric car I've seen, but the limited carbon fiber edition costs more than my yaris.

It WOULD be cool, but the price is incredibly prohibitive. For the same price as their base model, you can get any number of very, VERY nice motorcycles that go insanely fast and get anywhere from 40 to 60 mpg.

This piddly thing maxes out at 50 mph and looks like a bicycle from the 1940's. They brag about 0-30 in 4 seconds? If I let off the clutch, my bike idles at 20 mph! Probably 0-30 in well under 2 seconds.

I'm thinking only a total environmental nutjob would even consider it. I'd get a 70-100 mpg scooter first, for less than half the price, and it would probably be more traffic-worthy.

I think it's super cool but holy high price. I have to say that you could buy a way cooler motorcycle for $3000-8000 and have a LOT of money left over for fuel. As an example, I had a 2003 BMW F650 GS that got well over 70MPG and cost $7200 new. However, I'm sure this type of thing will get much cheaper in the future.
