Factory pwr locks question

Noticed a while back that by unlocking the passenger door with the key, both doors and the hatch unlock, but unlocking the drivers door, only the drivers door unlocks and I have to hit the unlock button for the others. Is this the normal factory operation, and if so is there a way to modify this so they all unlock from the key in the drivers door?

Do you double click the key button?

For unlocking at the driver side with a key, turn the key twice and all
doors will be unlocked.

yup, like others say, turn the key twice on driver side and it will be unlocked. I think it may be some kind of safety precaution... in case someone tries to get into your passenger side while you get into the driver's side??
