Without going the coil route and just getting springs to lower, Anybody have a guess how long before shocks will wear out?

I kinda figured that just doing springs to lower the car would wear the shocks faster.

Lowered spring are going to wear stock shocks faster, but it's impossible to tell how fast. It will PROBABLY be less than the 50k stated above, but most depends on how you drive and what surfaces you frequent...

The shock piston is lower inside the cartridge but it will not necessarily wear out quicker. It will if it bottoms out but if you drive reasonably they should last quite a while.

If the roads you drive are rough, your chances of bottoming out are pretty high. Or if you drive the car very hard. I can't put a number on it, but if you are slamming them alot I'd start saving soon:burnrubber:
