it's been more than 2 weeks since i installed my springs. the rear is really low. my tires are still stock 175 65 14. the rear is almost close to no gap left. the front is still about an inch of gap. will my front drop even more? it kinda looks lob-sided right now.

will post pics when i get a chance.

That looks about right wushu. Your driveway seems to be on a bit of an incline so i cant really tell if your car is "lob-sided"
i have the exact same setup as you. the DF210 Lowering springs are suppose to provide a 2" drop in the back and a 1.8" drop[ in the front.
Diggin the steelies ;) Looks good

looks ok, if there really is a 1 inch difference from front to back, you might want to check your install and make sure everything seated properly.

Make sure you didn't leave out any rubber noise suppression devices, mount centering pieces, etc. Or, if there were any in front that you should have removed :iono:
I think it looks decent, perhaps you weren't mentally prepared for such an aggressive stance.
Maybe the Dukes-style river jumping is taking its toll.

wow I really dont wana have that aggressive of a drop. I thought the nf210s were less dramatic.

I wish they were MORE dramatic - i installed them a while back and now I wish it was lower - so i'm building the bank account back for coilovers, which i should have just done to begin with.

Papercolor, note the thread topic. df210 , not nf210.

I thought only the Teins give up to 1.9 drop. I agree that maybe something is up with the install.

Post #5, bty way can't wait to see it at the meet, hint!! I'm looking as well and would like to compare them to Ric's, he'll be there too. He's got Teins.

This is talked about in other threads - cars that are dropped a decent amount on springs and retain factory struts/shocks tend to gain a slight "bumpy or hopping" over dips and bumps in the road. It will get worse as the struts wear down over time.

mine sits lower in the rear than the front with my df210s. i had a friend install them while i was at work. hope he didnt forget to remove any of the noise suppressors or centering points, etc. shoulda gone with coilovers

what's a good shock/strut to get to accompany the tanabe springs?

sometimes you have to look at the body lines rather than gaps because with my mazda6i the back looked lower because of the gap, but the front wheel well was bigger. which is something you will notice in your pic you posted. your car is actually pretty level. have a good one :)

heres my sedan on DF's. Note i also cut bout an 1 1/2 off of the bump stops..
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a93/LoAfEr650/justwashed2.jpg

the instructions say to cut off the bump stops..thats why your fronts are higher...... make sure you get good alignment too. mine went off by -40 toe...

compare the before pics.. big difference.. glad i didnt listen to most and go with NF's

right now (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) I believe TRD is the only company that has an aftermarket shock/strut. So you can look up some reviews and get those, or you can wait for another company to come out with something new.

got another pic today (had to brighten it up to see the wheels better).. same, someone's sitting in the back, no one in the front. does it look normal to you in this pic? the drop i mean.. with passenger weight in the back only

http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/2142/yarar7.jpg

could it be the 175 tire width?

loafer650

wushu what are you asking? if you have the stock shocks in back and ppl sitting in it..of course it will lower..upgrade your rears to stiffer or adjustable racing shocks..will also get better handling too. it has nothing to do with your tires..

I have the same set up (df210 springs only). Well, not really because I replaced my tires/wheels but this is how it looked before the drop:

Ahhh, well tell who ever is back there to walk because your car looks lopsided when they are back there. Problem solved.

And thanks loafer
