Hi everyone!
Even though I'm 34, I just got my first car... a Yaris hatchback!
Great car, love it!

But since I got it a few weeks ago I stopped using my iPod (no more bus for me!).
There was an iPod auxiliary cable option but at $330 Canadian (I'm from Montreal), its the price of a new iPod!

Anyway, I have the Factory Sound System cd installed (08600-00980).
According to this site's review of the Yaris
http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www.edmunds.com//media/roadtests/roadtest/07.toyota.yaris.s/07.toyota.yaris.aux.500.jpg
There's an auxiliary entry just behind the front dash.

My question is:
If I take out the front dash of my Yaris, will I find this auxiliary entry so I can add a cable there and plug my iPod for it to play on my Factory Sound System even though there is no AUX button?

Thank you!

BTY thats a sedan pic. The AUX for the hatch is usually by the park brake. Depending on the HU. You Can buy it and run it yourself. I say It's cheaper to change the HU!!

Hi UncleYaris,
what is a HU?
I'm french sorry!

I tried to find the AUX by the park brake but couldnt find it. Is it still there for 2007 model?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what car you have up there, but I have a 2007 US spec sedan with the convenience package and there is an AUX plug to the right of the radio in the "pocket" you posted a picture of. I don't have any black AUX button there though, just an AUX button on the radio.

I just bought a $3 cable (male to male 3.5" jack on each side) and I can play my ipod all day long through the car and control it with the radio's AUX button.
