September 22-23th Colt State Park, Bristol, RI Meet!! Hey all,
Time to start planning another great Colt State Park meet, for September 22-23th
as usual, we'll be meeting up at the park at ~12-1pm.
we'll do the usual BBQing and meet and greet stuff for a few hrs, CSP is a great place to hang out this time of year, bring your frisbee or a football or something, and come on out and enjoy the fun!
at the meet we had this past may, we had 32+ cars IIRC, and that was in crappy weather.
lets make this one even BIGGER!!

Hmmmmm.....Maybe it's the way it has always been but why a get together on a Sunday and a MONDAY? I would think a Saturday/Sunday would be the thing to do because I, along with I'm sure a few more of us have to work on Monday.

Unfortunately I'm flying to Tampa for the night to watch the RedSox.

Ok, I just reread the thread. You stated 2 different dates. In the New England thread you do say 22-23rd. In the post you state 23-24th.

come on guys i know there is more than one of you that would have a good time at something like this. with all the mass members i'd like to get a chance to check out what you guys are capable of doing with these small cars as well. i'm pretty well aware of what the 1.5 engines are capable of.

Ok so I wasn't able to make it yesterday and since there were two dates posted, I decided to go down today. I drove all over the park looking for people, but to no avail. Was it supposed to be only yesterday? Thankfully I only live one town over and really enjoyed the nice drive over there. But in any case how was the meet?

Sadly, I was stuck in bed with a rotten cold. Would have been better with a hot wife, but we can't win all the time.

yeah sorry i didn't find out till yesterday that they were only gonna meet there on saturday. today was the hang out day around wherever they stayed for the night i guess. the park was really nice i was kind of hoping to see some of you guys though. was a very good time. i don't have pics since the camera batteries didn't charge and i didn't know till it was too late.

Too bad I missed the meet. Working - retail business and free weekends don't mix. Neiman Marcus, Natick if you need anything. Hopefully I can catch the next one.
