And of course they showcase the LB and not the Sedan...I honestly think that they should have just left the sedan named Belta.

I have the VZ Navigator (from Verizon) on my Razr phone and it works really well, and costs $9.99/mo. I also got the needed adapters to plug my phones sound into the aux input so the GPS can work through the stereo, but usually I just sit the phone in the drivers side cupholder and it works great.

It also has a speed signal input built in for times when you are going in tunnels so that it keeps working. As well as that, it has USB input, external aux input, Bluetooth phone kit, optional iPod controller and multi-language directions.... and optional windscreen kit to use in other cars.
fnkngrv, that's because in Europe, there is no such thing as a Yaris sedan.

if it's true to form...no the tom tom pnd is touch screen so it might have a scroll eature on the screen behind the ipod...or a wheel or something in the black area..where the lcd displayu says ipod...

you mean like the Eclipse AVN2210p
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ldLTUFqIHyp/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=099avn2210&cm_re=products*block6*_
it's been around... but then I guess Toyota's relationship with Fujitsu helped push it.

it sounds will be audio nav instructions through the radio, no video screen though? I love my TomTom One, bought it in the UK, drove all around Europe, brought it back with me and got the US maps (all loaded for my cross-country trip now!)
I have the tomtom built in my yaris, but i wanna buy a sub and amp.
Does anybody know i can place a sub in combination with my tomtom?

There have been a couple of threads on this - I am trying like heck to get the kit for mine. The main reason I want it is to have that nice new bezel that fits the radio much more cleanly than the metra kit.
The price is supposedly about $540, which is about $140 more than the Eclipse from a place like Crutchfield. I wouldn't mind the extra $140 though to get the bezel with the smaller opening. So far the US dealers have no info, part numbers, etc. for this HU. They do list the $1400 DVD one, but not the TomTom one. I even tried PK's Canadian dealer, who also didn't have any info yet.

If it is truly the standard Eclipse AVN2210p (that is that Toyota doesn't have it customized), then it has a subwoofer output RCA jack on the back. It is intended to feed a powered sub with a built in low pass filter.
Since you actually have one of the units installed could I possibly get you to find out from your local dealer's parts people the part number for the bezel that surrounds the radio with your TomTom kit (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL, CTR)?
Do you mean the docking deck for the tomtom??
The tomtom unit is also special made for it:

No, I mean the silver plastic part of the dashboard that surrounds the radio. I understand that the TomTom unit is special for the head unit (which is made for toyota by Eclipse).
The standard Yaris radio is wider than your GPS radio, so the plastic piece has a hole which is 200mm wide. The plastic dash part that came with your radio kit has a 180mm wide opening, which is the proper size for a standard Double DIN head unit. If I can buy just the plastic dash part from a dealer somewhere in the world, then I can buy the Eclipse AVN2210p and have it look as well integrated as yours.

Here's a comparison:

Thank you.
I have spoken to dealers here in the US, in Canada, and in Japan, and none of them have been able to figure out a part number for it. Since you actually have one in your car, your market may actually have a clue about the part.

Not yet for the US, but it's been in Europe as the Follow-Me package and is shown as an option on the Toyota Canada website for this year.

The OEM in-dash TomTom is expensive. You can buy a after market large screen navigation system for less and mount it behind your steering wheel. Or you can save some money and get a after market smaller screen navigation system and mount the navigation system behind the steering wheel. I have a 7 in Garmin in my first Yaris. I have a 4.2 inch Garmin in my second Yaris. The 4.2 inch nuvi 255WT has a rechargeable battery and can be used to get back to your car if lost. Newer large screen Garmin navigation system also come with rechargeable battery.
