I just installed a Toyota cabin A/C filter. It was very, very easy and I recommend this project to anyone. My only complaints are that the filter seems very flimsy, and the passage into which the filter goes does not seem airtight, and I wonder if some of the particles just go around the filter.

haha with the looks of the filter, it seems too flimsy to do much. *sigh*

I made my own and put it into the car late june. Already the thing is dirtier than my stock air filter was after 20k miles!

well it is an air filter..... it filters dirt and pollen out of the air, if you want to get the shit smell out you a)need to stop putting http://www.toledotuners.com/phpBB3/images/smilies/dancingpoop.gifin your glove box or b)get a charcoal cabin air filter, that helps with smells as well

Yup, without the filter frame, it's not going to be a perfect fit. Too bad, but that's the best we can do because the frame simply won't fit!

Oy I did not know there was a filter frame. Do I have to buy that as a separate part? And it won't fit? What the?
