早晨好 Jay,

我與您有一陣子未談話。

Your car looks outstanding, and you already know I loved your previous bumper and center exhaust. The new exhaust fits into the new bumper so nicely now. Clean job! I'm so envious.

I don't see any baffles in the tailpipes. 它是非常大聲的嗎?

Will you please tell everyone all about it?

For those of you who hadn't seen Jay's car before the new exhaust, this is the before photo, and even the earlier exhaust and bumper were very, very nice!

First of all, who is that in your avatar Kimona!!?? Very sexy!!
I actually like the positioning of the dual exhaust before! So much so I think I'll do the same. What kind of exhaust is that Jay? (the old one).

If you like a center exhaust, Jay's last photo shows how simple it would be to modify the exhaust pipe and add the dual tip (of your choice) to exit the center of the bumper... all using the stock muffler. The system would be just for show of course. When I checked under the car, there even seems to be a convenient place to install a center rubber hanger. You could even add a resonated tip if you wanted to change the tone of the exhaust.

Looks great. The center exhaust works very nicely with a Lb. I love the color too. Not too keen on the reflectors in the bumper tho...

The rear bumper is JDM Vitz RS. The skirt that fits the center exhaust is a Vitz Modelista option. Jay's exhaust system is custom, not the TRD option available for the Modelista.

Here's a pic from Toyota Japan:

Yeah, I was looking under there during a badly-needed wash of the Yaris this afternoon and it looks like any muffler shop could do the modification quite easily...

Decisions, decision! :iono:

I gave away the bumpers for $100 and the lips for $40 as I recall. Not doing that again.

That lip has to go with the RS rear bumper, won't fit with our stock bumpers.

MadMax
11-18-2010, 09:10 PM
The only problem I could see would be that if you want to get away from the center exhaust, that bumper wouldn't allow for it.

I'd have to mess around with PhotoShop to see how a center exhaust looked on my stock bumper before actually trying it.

Cheers! M2

Eh, it's OK; but I'm not going to rush to do this...

When I've got the cash (maybe mid-late spring), should I hit you up to order at least ONE pair? I SOOOOO want that on my Yaris. The whole front bumper, too.

Assuming it fits the '09+ 3-door?
