I had Toyos on my Prelude, and didn't like them, FWIW.

Toyo better in wet. BFG probably stickier in hard cornering. Toyo will probably last longer.

BFG has a really nice aggressive tread --

It really depends on how, and where, you drive... and what is important to you.

What aspect of a tire are you most interested in? Grip, road noise, treadwear, look, etc? Given an equal sidewall stiffness, the tread pattern in the BFG's should put more rubber on the road and have better grip. I've become very wary of certain tread block sizes and spacings (a la General UHP Exclaims). Independent tests have given the BFG's good reviews in wet as well. The Toyo's may last longer, however, and be quieter on the road. I would do more research, but I would also lean toward the BFG just for performance.
Good luck.

My Proxies were noisy as hell.

I wanted to buy the Maxxis MA-Z1 but they discontinued the size I'm looking for..

What I was looking for was good grip when it's wet (even though I think we only got a couple of inches of rain last year in SoCal) but I hydroplaned on my old car last year - (road noise was a concern also) but I thought the BFG tread pattern loooked sweet..

A girl at my work has the BFGoodrich g-Force™ T/A® KDW and she says that they are noisy..

Even though I feel like a good comparison would be BFGoodrich g-Force™ T/A® KDW with the Toyo Proxes T1R™ but I like the Toyo Proxies 4 also so maybe if it rains really bad I'll see how they feel and if it's bad I'll buy the Toyo 4 for the rainy season and the BFG's for the stop rainy season/summer...

Because of the beefy tread pattern they were some what noisy, but the turbo spool killed that problem . Wet weather was good actually very good IMO. Cornering id say was good too I was normally going threw the straights so I really couldn't tell you much. I really liked them a lot I actually still have those wheels and tires pictured. If I had to get tires for the Yaris those would be them. They just look so BA too! lol
