I am thinking about it, but I have all sorts of roads I have to go on, let alone the incline of my drive way. I think that the front bumper would get ripped off within a week or two.

The wheels look very nice!

Please, tell us about them. They look like 15's with stock tires... is that right?

Yep, 15 x 6.5 with the stock 185's. Nothing special, but for $100 a pop, I likes 'em.

It seems to have a better stance when doing 50+ mph. I was doing 70 in a decent wind going home today, and it felt much...well, more responsive/safer/less likely to blow off the highway. I'd like to say that it might handle slightly better when taking turns too sharp in town, but that might just be in my head.

wow, once i get some rims and tires, then i'd be set in cross-winds. seriously, lowering your car and adding a strut bar adds some stability on the freeway. you should get those for your next mods.

heh, if you got stickier tires, then it should handle so much better. i still have the crappy OEM tires and steelies.

I think that I will do the sway bar and better tires, but not until these wear down. I am still not sure about the springs. I am fearful of ground clearance. I am of the opinion that replacing anything stock when it is less than a month old is kind of dumb, unless you have a lot of extra pocket jingle. Being a social worker, I am poor as shit, hence the Yaris, and spending a good deal of money for minor mods seems like a waste. If it is a new addition, e.g., sway/tie bars, tinting, etc...then I would feel better about the purchase. Rims, however, do seem to make sense. I my opinion.

heh, yeah, if you're worried about ground clearance, then you should opt for the TRD springs or Tanabe NF springs. i have the Tein S.Tech's and it's pretty low (i like it like that, but the plastic flap in front of the rear tire rubs when going over speedbumps when i have a full car. but yeah, a lot of people here say that adding aftermarket struts and shocks with OEM springs is a good set up for handling. heh, i don't have sway bars (i want the TRD rear one). get the Tanabe Sustec front strut bar. pretty easy to install and relatively cheap. yes, rims make sense, but i don't have the money for those right now.
