Hey everyone I picked up my Yaris today, I have a question for everyone that has a hatchback....
Are you headrest all the same?? I have two pop up head rests on the outter seats then a "low" profile one in the middle... All the pictures I have seen have the "low" ones on all 3 seats... I just want to check on this to see if the dealer switched them out or something or if its my car or everyones....
I will post pics soon

We have a hatchback with the 60/40 rear seat. We have what I would call three identical, low profile headrests. They are all the same size and when lowered completely, fit into about 1 1/2 indentations in the top of the seat back.
The difference here might be standard rear folding seat vs. the 60/40 folding seat.

ok, I thought it might be the differance of the power package to the conv. one... I want all the little ones so I guess I will have to wait till they sell them lol and change them out....do you think the dealership can order them for me yet?

i don't know how many replacement parts are available yet... afterall, it is an '07

that is the answer. the 60/40 seats will have 3 identical low profile headrests, standards seats feature 1 lo-pro in the middle, and 2 'normal' headrests on either side. i personally prefer the 'normal' ones to the low profile ones

Ron you want to trade ... lol I will do it one head rest at a time if i have too.. I would just put the low one's on the sides and tall in the middle till i can find the 3rd one. Let me know:rolleyes:

My RS has the same set up. Must be the norm here.
I have an observation about this design. When one wants to sit at the back, one must pull the headrest up in order to sit comfortably. A good safety measure!

no thanks :) im happy with my setup. the 2 normal headrests for the normal passengers, and the low-pro headrest for the bitch seat which is normally kept down, to increase rear mirror visability.

Did anyone ever get the smaller headrest, like in the center, in the two side seats in the rear. Looks like it might not be a real good fit. Got any ideas? my thing is, I want the front seats back all the way-all the time-but I want to just be able to drop the rear down for groceries and shit, without adjusting the fronts. I'm lazy. I could just lose the headrest all together. I want a finished look though, so, I want something back there but these guys are too big.

Got off my lazy ass to try the center headrest on one of the sides. No fit. :frown:

Better wait till Yaris Turbo comes out and then "test drive" it.
Didn't we just invent new meaning of the phrase "test drive"?
