Dealer called me up today and said my car was in. Been waiting 6 weeks. Just went to pick i up and of course its the wrong car!!! The only thing they got right was the color. No power package, no keyless entry, no spoiler. Nothing I ordered was on this car. ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGG I am so PO'd right now. And of course all they could say was well we will have to re-order it!!!!!! I could pull someone's head off right now.

Ouch. Hey, it'll be that much better when it gets here!
I could pull someone's head off right now.
In for pics.
Just want to say I'm sorry to learn about that!
It is the dealership's fault, not yours. Ask them to give you a loaner.

At least make them give you something for your trouble like 3-4 free oil changes/tire rotation.
Bummer though....

Don't loose your cool if possible. And as others have mentioned. Turn it around and make the dealership give you something for your troubles. Possibly have them give you a free check up and oil change at your 3000 to 5000 mile check.

I bet they where thought you would take it. My dealer did the same thing, but the car had more options than I wanted. I took it anyway. They said you don't have to buy it. It worked out. Wait for the right one and tell them to quit wasting your time.

I called the sales manager this morning and gave him a piece of my mind. He says they are scrambling to find one with my options.....

Ok, so "supposedly" they found one down in Arizona and it should be here on 8-1. It has a couple hundred dollars more of options then I orignally asked for. Should I make them bring the price down to what we orginally agreed upon or just be grateful I am getting one?

I'd inquire. They're either going to give you a better deal or not. And you can either take it or wait for one more to what you want. The upgrades actually might be kind of nice. Just depends on what they are and if you really would like them.
i'd give the dealer alot of shit if that happened to me. so far, they all been great (except Infiniti) my Toyota purchase was probably one of the best.

If they are minor ones - ask for them for free. If major, ask for them at INVOICE. FYI: There is a far higher mark-up on the add-ons than on the base vehicle - add-on markup makes up something like 20%-25% of the MSRP.
If it were a stick-shift, Liftback, I'd take it loaded with whatever - they are apparently very rare.
We had a choice of three in Silver (didn't want Black, White or Red) - two were strippos and one was loaded. We took the loaded one without much hesitation. VERY GLAD we did!

if you don't take what they try to give you it's not like it will be hard to sell it to someone else, so getting them to come down more on the price can be hard...
