REAR MIDDLE BELT

has anybody successfully taken out the middle rear belt in their RS??

I have committed to no one sitting in the backseat...unless they are female...and usually that only requires one of the rear belts and the front seat...lol im not that greedy boys!! lol

so im looking into removing it or seeing if anyone has found info on making it disappear.. it looks as if the clip in the roof may fold away...

why reduce the functionality of your car?

doesn't the middle belt clip into the roof?
(i've never tried it but it has the appearance of doing so, and echo hrs has mentioned that is what he has done)

the functionality of my car is second to gas mileage...plus i dont let anyone sit back there anyway...let alone needing use of 3 belts back there...i check the user manual and i didnt see any options for removing the clip on the roof...its currently clipped in which is fine..i just will never use it

I never use it either.. but I just leave it there.. just in case. hey, you never know.
