So I was hoping that SOMEONE had a Picture of an In-dash, Flip out Monitor??? I would like to see how it fits in the dash, If it blocks the Vents... you know all the basic stuff...

Anyone got any pics for me?

Sorry, just noticed this thread today..

This is a Panny deck with an Alpine centre speaker. I'm using the stock metal bracket to hold them in place, with custom homemade side covers. Note if you were using a Scosche kit, that would bring down the deck somewhat.

So, you see that it only blocks the vents, but doesn't get superclose.

The Gen 1 Yaris (Echo) is far worse for a flip-out deck. The screen blocks the climate controls, and the deck is closer to the floor, so you gotta look down.

Let me know if you need different picks.

I bet you'd be the first one in a Yaris to have that. Pretty awesome.

I recommend you peruse MP3car (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/) if you haven't already.

Make sure your monitor is a touchscreen, and can control a computer.

You're gonna have a cool system!

how about relocating it in the lower din to give way for the air vents.

Well, then I'd be blocking the speaker with the screen.
