Okay I know the Fit is the main competitor of the Yaris but this new one doesn't look too bad, certainly an improvement over the current then again the current is dated...

I like it..I've always been a honda/toyota man..I had a black 1988 Honda Prelude with the 4 Wheel steering..LOADED>>OH MAN IT WAS SWEET!! ..I put so much wax on that bad boy you had to HOLD yourself in place if I let you sit on it..super slick :biggrin:

To me it looks like Stitch from lilo and stitch. It still remains incomplete looking as well.

One thing I love about the Yaris is it looks like a complete design on the exterior. Supposedly Toyota even sacrificed some functionality in favour of looks on sedan. I don't know about the hatch. Where the Yaris rear passengers have less headroom in the sedan, the roofline looks much nicer. Whereas the roofline in the Fit bubbles up like some puss filled heat blister just waiting to ooze.

I don't think it's horrible looking and think it's far from the worst car out their in it's class. Probably second best in NA where we don't get much selection. Interesting that Honda feels the need to do some a large redo already.

with that design...it just puts Honda at an even lower state in its own country. Toyota dominates there no matter because of their....Mark X car, Crown Series, and Netz.....whats Honda got? Acura and Honda..

Anyway, design in the front looks like a Fit design, but the back end looks more like a minivan rather than s sub-compact....it better not be classified under sub-compact~

Only U.S. will still have the appeal for Honda because its the only thing racy to them and it was once the best maker until Toyota brought itself up in America.

haha, we've thought about it, but there are no aftermarket suspension parts for our van. its a damn shame. its one of the reasons we looked into the odyssey (ton of aftermarket stuff), but our van is our family-luxury-boat anyways. our yaris is the little canyon carver. NOW....back to the topic!

haha, i'll play devils advocate, but aside from its mini-minivan looks, the fit is pretty good car. after test driving one, it handles really well and feels like it sits lower than the yaris. thing is, we already own a minivan, so getting a junior version would be plain silly. also we wanted the MOST mpg, so from the versa (most plush/quiet/largest interior), fit (sportiest and most cargo space) and yaris (best looking and best mpg), which all test drove really well, we chose the yaris.
