kinda off topic.... but what do you think about running a staggard set up like this
13x7.5 front, 15x8 rear to keep the wieigh off the drive tires and keep something wide on the rear to keep you planted around corners? just a dumb idea, I thought I would kick around with the wheel king

or run something insane like 245/40R15's on 15X8's....

The front, side and rear lips are all made by Aeroover. You will need Japanese front and rear bumpers (shorter) to fit these.

The rear will rub a little over very steep driveways if you don't take them at an angle. You can get rid of the rubbing with a little more neg. camber in the rear.

What do the AME Shallen LX's weigh?

They're not the lightest wheels out there.. they are two piece and pretty wide compared to most light weight Yaris wheels. With tires the combined weight is 36lbs so if you subtract the tires which weigh approximately 18/19lbs you end up with around 18lbs each.

I believe the stock 14x5.5 steelies with 175/65/14 tires are around 34lbs, so not too bad for a 2" larger diameter and nearly 3" wider wheel.

It's a tough choice... RS's are classic. I considered them also, but they were a little too busy for the style I was going for. You have to really love them to shell out the big $$ they demand, and to deal with the headaches of air leaks and bent lips.

ive always want to put 16x8's on mine the only problem is.. im on a trd spring and i mostly load up on the car so worried about rubbing and also weight of the wheels as well..im assuming those 16x8's are pretty heavy..
