Does these shields help with the cutoff point or do they serve some other purpose because I figured they would fit on top while in the hosing since the glare is on top, and does anyone know where you can get some. Nothing is showing up in an EBay search. If they do I am getting my grnadpa who does cutom aluminum work on the horn to strat turning these things out. I have already talked to him about doing something like C-one's underbody panel.

I have them, and I got them from ebay a while back. Are they very good comapred to blinding everyone, oh yeah!

But do they give a very nice cutoff, no.

I would say though, they make D2r/s bulbs fir very nicely into our H4 housing.

well the kit I have which are H4's glares like a mofo and I am looking into getting something to help reduce the glare. If I am loking right at my headlight in the housing should the shield be on the top or bottom of the bulb??

Shield goes on the bottom to prevent the light from hitting the bottom reflector housing which shines up (I know it seems backwards).

This guy sells them but they are for fitting D2S bulbs in an H4 housing, not a bulb rebased to H4. http://www.hidexpert.com/

I had just seen some H4 bulbs with them and some witout and figured the shield was to help with the glare. I bought a kit without the shield and them puppies were all over the place, but they were bright as hell. I will just wait until some one starts makin retro fit by the bulk for these cars.

I just wanted to see how they worked and compare the light output, and the difference is insane. The stock headlights are like in the olden days of putting a candle in front of a piece of metal compared to these things. I am just curious how other peoples HID in the stock housing keeps from blinding people.
