My friend's son is turning one next month and I'm looking for a present for him. I want to get him something car related since he's always watching his dad work on his car. :)

Are there toys that resemble car tools or something for that age? Like big plastic socket wrenches or something? :p

Thanks.

I had just read this thread and I thought about the little tool kit that my son loves to play with so I walked into the other room to try and find a make/model but no luck. Then I walk back to my computer and lo and behold DIMG has posted a link to the exact toy.

Anyways, my son digs that one. The best part is where they put the 4 shapes in because the toy says "square" when you put the square in; etc. Also the two rivets make a sound when they are pushed in and when you rotate the cogs it plays a song. We got it because a friend of ours has a son who was just a few months older than mine and he dug it too.

EDIT: Oh and the drill makes a sound when you pull the trigger or when you push the bit in. WARNING: You may need to hide the dog or cat because of the drill.

Yes, the soft one will make everyone happy--I have given my nephews noisy toys and they were NOT mom's favorite...

Ha. Yeah, I thought of getting the loudest toy possible. But I'm not that mean. :p I think I'll go with that one.
