i'm a hiphophead and find myself bumpin beats in the knight rider all the time but, today on the way to work i found myself in my black yaris, behind black windows, riding on black rims listening to metallica's black album...:headbang:...thought it was funny and it inspired me to ask my yarisworld friends...

what tune does your yaris move to?...

Anything metal. NOthing Black metal though no offense to it it's just to fast for me. Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, The Devil Wears Prada, Emmure, Bury Your Dead. Anything with a good break down in it.

Was on the "S's" mp3 cd and was listening to Slayer. During South of Heaven I decided that they only way I could listen to Slayer while driving a Yaris and still have any self respect was if I had a constant supply of pigs blood seeping out of the day time runners and tag light. Any of you satanical engineers out there have any ideas as how to best honor the dark lord while at 3k rpms, let me know.

Problem is all my music is heavy metal or old tyme country. Doesn't seem to fit the Yaris. I will need to download some Wham or Creed or Godsmack or something better suited...

who do you listen to?

techno does sound good with an awesome system. What are some good techno groups or cds?

Well, favourite (hard) techno DJ/producer is D.A.V.E. The Drummer! The man is brilliant.

Other favourite techno DJs of mine are Chris Liberator, DJ Murphy, Felix Krocher, Gayle San, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing to name a few.

Preach from Montreal used to be incredible too, but he's switching his sound to a more trancey one, so usually all you can hope for is a techy set now, which just doesnt cut it for me

If you wanna check out a good techno stream site, check out www.livesets.com ... its about 50/50 techno and minimal techno (COMPLETELY different sound!)

also DI.fm has a techno stream!

EDIT: Those are techno DJs ive listed, most of whom all produce techno tracks too. they're arent too many techno "groups" so to speak, save for many just a track here or there usually.

and as far as cd compilations... dont really buy many techno sets... just play techno sets (dj sets (unlike single tracks) are NOT copy righted material and therefore are not illegal to download and share...

with anything electronic music, there are so many sets out there, its fantastic :D

Depends on what your into, personally I mostly listen to Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, ATB, etc. I also stream a lot of stuff from http://www.nuskoolbreaks.co.uk !

Trance then (though Tiesto has been dropping the odd house tracks in his sets lately, and Ferry as we all know is on that really f'n annoying 'electro' kick since his LEF album.. ugh!

ATB... havent heard many sets by them since the late 90s, but im guessing very melodic trance still, non?

An EXCELLENT trance DJ right now is Markus Schulz... the guy's been on MASSIVE fire since 2006! Armin has gotten brutal to me (live), but his ASOTS i dont mind still... but he never spins in a club like his ASOT sets. :S

for good trance streaming, again check out DI.fm...

or www.2hp.ca , run by a friend of mine... mostly trance, but streams house sets too.
