Heh. So, Halo 3 came out last night. Showed up at 10, since I didn't have the money for a pre-order and now that I do it's already coming out. There was a few people sitting around watching movies. Well, me and my friend came back at 10:30... people all the way from one end of the store to the other (well, pretty close). Crazy stuff. Decided we weren't that interested, and I went by this morning instead and picked up my copy.

I'm not getting any work done today. I get out at 6, but my friend doesn't get out till 8... once 8 hits, though, I'll be gone from this world. I don't care if I'm up till 8 in the morning. I'm beating the campaign.

Anyone else picked up their copy yet?

xbox360 game...i've only played halo.. it's pretty fun but i didn't own the game so i only got to play a lil bit of it.

I remember when the PS3 came out.. I drove by best buy and there were people all wrapped around the store...

halo3 must be a video game similar to battlefield2, the king of all first-person shooters. recognize and bow down.

People are crazy, waiting in line that long. Though, really... I would have done it if I didn't have to work the next day, and had someplace in town closer to stay then a thirty minute drive away.

Haven't been able to do anything online or in a lot of stores without seeing something about halo 3. It really is the biggest game release ever.. at least as far as I remember. Everyone is on the advertising.. hell.. down here there is even a special mountain dew.

Got a chance to read through the book while the boss is out of the office. Doesn't look like a whole lot has changed as far as weapons go from what was in the demo, but that's fine with me. Spike grenades are all I live for.

they added a few new weapons... new vehicles...new AI...and you can now change things on maps.. like spawn points,gun,etc...and last they have a reply option now...and you can upload those online...

Yeah- Forge is what they are using for changing maps around and all that. I'm actually looking forward to it now that I've seen some people playing around with it- at first I didn't know if it was going to be any fun to play with.

The only weapon that stood out to me that wasn't in the demo is the hammer they are going to have. Going to be fun. I watched someone stop a warthog in it's tracks with one on a preview video. Good stuff.

Are they making a version for the old Xbox? If not.... those bastards! I'm not buying a whole new console for one stinkin' game. I don't play enough to justify the purchase, but I really enjoyed the 1st two of the series. I'd love to see how it ends up, but I ain't spendin' $350 to find out.

Not for the last generation x-box. It's Xbox 360 material. I can completely understand not wanting to buy a new box for one.. 360's are expensive as hell. Fortunately for me, it's cheaper than upgrading my computer and easier to carry around. If it wasn't for that and Forza 2, I wouldn't have considered getting one.
