Got rid of the "fried egg look" on the front end of the Yaris today.
The size is: 7507A from http://xenonmods.com/
They are chromish silver colored, but when signaling, still light up orange.
This inexpensive, quick easy mod really cleaned up the front IMO...

All lit up.. Still blinks nice and bright, but not as bright as the original bulbs.. that's to be expected, with a coated bulb.

Looks good. Just feel lucky that Toyota is past the "lexus amber reflector" stage. back in the day, we use to have to remove an amber reflector to get ride of the amber color in our headlights. Nowadays, all you gotta do is a chrome bulb ...you break my :brokenheart:

Hey Chris, where/what kind of HID kit did you get? They look sexy.
Search the "HID" post.. last page, towards the bottom.. I gave some info the other night.
But quick and to the point, they are Nuxen 6500k H4 HIDs. Right now my GB is $230 shipped in the US on the exact kit.

Wanted to do this mod but the Narva Invisible signal lights costs AUD38/pair. Then I read an easy DIY invisible signal light. Take a normal amber bulb. Scuff up the glass a bit. With silver spray paint, lightly coat the bulb only, not the metal part. Let dry and test it. Its silver when off but lights amber when on. As I already had a can of silver spray paint, it only cost me AUD5.00 for the amber lights.

just installed last night, took about 3 mins, and 2 of that was figuring out how to open the shipping box *(very small). make my lights look 1000x cleaner, the bulb has like a mirror finish to it so it seems invisible. Now if only there was a way to get rid of the yellow side reflectors....

The biggest difference is that they'll fit. I don't think the 7507A is available in the UK market.
The second bulb, the DIADEM is the Philips version of the Sylvania one that I installed (and will be replacing).

I got those too. I wonder how that happened.
On their webpage xenonmods.com, when you click "Add to Basket" on the 7507 page, it brings you to a paypal site with a shopping cart, and the item description in wrong.... it says 194 wedge bulbs instead of 7507. So its a website programming error. I'll email him later and see what can be done for an exchange.
Chris07LB
01-25-2007, 12:32 PM
That sucks.. PLENTY have ordered them since my original post without any issues.. Im sure he will work it all out for you guys.
I got an email back from him this morning. Dr. Zaius nailed it. Here's the email:
Andrew - thank you for writing to me about this.
I'm guessing that you ordered from my web site at www.xenonmods.com
The problem is with that. I re-did my site about 3 months ago, and apparently when I did I didn't change the 7507 cart button to display 7507 properly, and it reads the 194 bulbs.
My brother-in-law does all my lighting stuff and I was about to wring his neck, but now I check all possibilities after the last incident (I wrung his neck, then he proceeded to kicked my ass - hahaha - not really)
Anyway - admittedly it is hard for me to keep track of who's who and what happened, but if you could be kind enough to post on your forum that anyone that got the incorrect bulbs send me an e-mail with the following information:
1: their name
2: the Paypal transaction of the order
3: the bulbs they require (7507 in this case)
4: the shipping address
Please let them know as soon as I get this information (ALL of it, not just some) I will send out the right bulbs immediately. As far as returning the 194's, it would be nice if everyone would but since this is my mistake 100% it's not necessary.
thanks so much!

I let it go for a while. Only because I thought it was an icolated thing with me.
I never said anything about my experience.
I guess i will now.
I ordered mine and I never received an email from them either about confirmation of payment or even hey its out for delivery.
I emailed them and emailed them and finally they replied it's been sent out on or about the 20th. How’s that for records?
Well I finally got them some 17 days after payment was sent. They are not concerned with the consumer.
It took days for replies to emails. Heck it could have been multiple emails that finally got him to reply.
Anyways I replied back to him thinking it would be nice for me to let him know I received them 17 days after he said he sent them to me and he never replied. You would figure he would thank me for letting him know or something.
Whelp they are a company that you send money too and just pray you get what you just sent your money for. If you don’t or it’s the wrong product, ohh man… I would not want that to happen, it may never get resolved and he is richer.
I almost thought he is kind of like “thanks for the money and if I don’t hear from you I will not send out the product and maybe I can make some free money”.

Did you ever swap out the rear turn signal bulbs for these? Did it eliminate the orange in the rear or is that in the housing? Also have you changed out your reverse bulbs for something a bit brighter if so what did you use in those? Thanks.

bulb # 7507A is what I used and it fits the front and rear turns, the guy above crammed an 1156 which is the back up bulb into a turn signal from what I gather and says it works, the pins are offset differently if I remember correctly
7507 is the correct size for turn signal bulbs in the hatch

maybe you can use them in the side marker lights. it's not easy to install them, but it will give you the same effect, getting rid of the orangey color in the side marker housings and still blink orange.
