Just to sum up the lost thread. Ice Total interior care is the best shi% ever for the Yaris dash. It will leave a nice deep color with NO greasy residue. Just watch out for the valve on the bottle, it likes to give you a little surprise.

Armor-all original does it for me, it's not really greasy like it used to be and looks awesome.

Is the ICE stuff static-free? That's my only complaint with Armor-all... lint clings to it like white on rice.

...Is the ICE stuff static-free?

Why yes it is...

I'm actually not a huge Turtle Wax brand fan, but the ICE total interior care is the absolute BEST dash treatment i've ever used. Not only on the Yaris either; I've done our Matrix, my wifes 06' Civic, and my Scion XB. It's awesome on all plastic, especially dark/black plastic.

Also, it lasts a loooong time between cleanings. And, one bottle has done 4 total car interiors and I still have 1/3 bottle left over.

Man, that reminds me... I bought some ICE total IC, but.... it's been sitting on the shelf by my front door for like 3 months now >.< I've got to get on that... I've been super NOT motivated due to the fact that I got SUPER door dinged on the passenger side (like 7" long!!!) and a frikkin' divot in the bumper from helping my boyfriend move (oh dear god, they totally didn't hear the end of that for a while) I've practically given up on trying to keep my car looking good! :(

Pledge.

Are you serious? Do they have car care products?

I use Turtle Wax's leather/vinyl protectant. It smells nice and makes the interior look great!

Will these leave that nasty haze on the windshield after the car has been sitting in the sun? Took me the longest time to figure out my Armor All was causing this from the sun heating up the plastic and causing vapors from the Armor All to coat the windshield making it fog up easily. Now I just use a damp towel with water.

Pledge is recommended in the Toyota manual iirc
I use Meguiars natle shine, it doesn't leave the dash greasy or feeling ashy

+1 It even leaves it soft to touch but I REALLY HATE THAT CAP! Thats the only down side but it's whats inside that counts!

i haven't use meguiar but i will give it a try, for those who about to buy Ice please don't waste your money on it, unless you want to get that little towel included.Ice Total is not that awesome, use the new Armor All original New Formula with no grease....I tried them both, and the only thing Ice good at is no static, but why should i care about that?
All i can tell you is, Ice make my Black Dash to not Black color i can see it when i applied to my dash, half of my dash will look like it's only 80% Black, At first i thought this is normal, and it's will go back to black, but ...nah. So i try Armor All..wow i can see black now.
Armor All make it look deep black, shiny and no grease, beside i hardly see dust on my dash that much like the old formula Armor all, so i'll go with Armor cheaper and look better.

I have used Armorall for several years and decided to switch to ICE. I didn't have a microfibre towel handy, so I applied the ICE with an Armorall wipe. The combination of the two resulted in a long-lasting shiny surface. I'd be curious to see if anyone else has the same results.

What you need is Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish. You can buy it at Honda motorcycle dealers. Try it once, you'll never use anything else.

Hey, as long as it's not GM, Ford, or Chrysler, it's fine...

So, let me see if I got this straight...

In another thread, there were several who stated that Black Magic was the best wax to use outside of the car, but ICE was crap.

But for inside the car, ICE seems to be the product of choice and Black Magic sucks, right?

And as for Pledge, I've been using it (yes, the furniture polish) for over 17 years on a black motorcycle I've owned since new, and it still looks like it came off the showroom floor! It was a trade secret a buddy at a Honda dealer told me about when I first got the bike. He told me it was better than Honda's products and a helluva lot cheaper.

I use it on both of my bikes (both full-fairinged machines, ones a sportbike and the other a sport-tourer) with excellent results. For some reason, Lemon Pledge works the best. About the only downside I have ever noticed is that it seems to attract bees!

Cheers! M2

I can also vouch for the Ice Total Interior Care. The best product so far I've ever used. I like its soft scent too.

But gosh, that occasional squirt i just can't handle lol
