Fog light covers

Pretty simple question. How do you remove them?
I'm talking about the black plastic ring thing thats placed on the bumper to give the foglights a nice fit.

Bump? I'm sure you just pry it, but I'm afraid of busting a clip or a screw mount if it's screwed on.

Take the bumper off and unsnap them from the back

or

jack the front of the car, go under and unscrew the 3 bolts that hold the wheel wee splach guards and pop the cips off from there inside the bumper.

It'll be easier, but a little more work.
