I spoke to my buddy and he would be willing to a group buy sort of thing for those wanting lights done this way. For 5 or less people it would be $100 a pair. 6 or more it would be $75. It would be that cost plus shipping. I am not making a penny off of this, just doing this as a service to you guys who are interested. Let me know.

Yes. Black sand pearl mixed with a little clear.

I would be so down with the group buy but living in Canada and not having a second set of tails means no smoked lights for me unless i do them myself. Your buddy has the art down perfectly, way to go.

how many coats? did he clear it like u would on the body? and last question lol how much clear to paint ratio? wanna try this myself

The clear is mixed with the paint and I believe it took three coats to get it that dark. I am not sure on the ratio but I can find out.

It is the outside of the tail lights.
