Hello, I'm pretty new to the Yaris world, just helping out my girlfriend with her car. I have the A1 keyless entry and I just have a few questions:
1) I bought the horn relay, there are 5 wires butone 4 are used:
one goes to the 14pin connector,
two of them go to a power source,
one goes to the horn- a single black wire under the steering column
This is how I hooked up the wires.. I'm pretty sure I got them all but it doesn't seem to work, anyone with ideas?
2) starter kill didn't work either.. ehh. for the starter kill, you splice into the ignition (pink wire under steering column), split the starter wire (black wire under the steering column- are they both the same? I tried with both but the starter kill didn't work either time). the other two wires (yellow and orange) went to the 14pin connector
Hopefully someone knows that I'm talking about with these colors and what not. I'm pretty sure my wiring is correct, it just doesn't do what its supposed to do. anyone have ideas? you guys would know better than me.. thanks!
