Description:
I bought this car close to when it first debuted, back in January of ‘07. I have driven this car to and from school and occasional errands, that’s why the mileage is very low. I have meticulously maintained this car. I wash and wax this car on a weekly basis and detail in between. Also, I use high quality car care products. The paint is silky smooth and there are no scratches. The car literally glows in the California sunshine. The Interior has been kept well too. There are no stains, odors, crumbs or even scratches. Plus, I use plastic mats since day one, so my feet have not dirtied the factory mats. I swear you will not find a cleaner Yaris than this one, not even at a dealer! The fuel economy is astonishing. The car is rated at 34/40 MPG, but can get more if driven just the right way. I have never redlined the car or have shifted pass 3000rpm. A certified Toyota dealer has done all of the maintenance work. Also, the car has been sitting in my garage for the past month. Lastly, I am serious about selling this car and I am no hurry to sell this car.

Sorry but the price is too high. You could have purchased it 2 years ago for 12,600.

Owning a car and making a 1000 on it would surely be a good deal for you.

I would be interested in this car if it was 9,000$ and even then I would check the history and reciepts carefully. Thanks.

Very clean looking car alright, but it will soon be a 2-year old car.
You will need to re-consider your price if you really want to sell it.

Hope you find a good buyer that will take good car of her.

I totally forgot I had this up. When I posted this up the forum was fresh and new. It had like 5 threads, so I thought nobody was going to answer, so I gave up on it. Now, it has many threads. Anyway, I am really considering your advice and adjusting the price. However, I have to work some financial stuff before I can think of a price. Lastly, I'm not just going to give up on this forum just yet! So stay tuned.

Amazingly well-maintained Y have to admit. But have to agree that the price is a little high. Mine has the same features plus factory alloys, and I only paid $12,500 new. A better price would be about $10K or less used.

Of course seeing as how the seller did a post-n-run, I might as well be talking to myself...

Bump for a decent deal... and you originally posted right after our forum was 'reset.' We're a very active forum - you should stick around.

In this current (horrible) market, the price is high; so you may want to just hang onto it. I've been trying to sell my clean '07 automatic/loaded w/30K for $9K and hardly get any inquiries or typically "lowball offers" at $6-7K.

For those who keep saying that you can buy a new one for 13K, you are neglecting the power pack. If you can find a 2009 w/ power pack for $13k, please tell me where, so I can go buy it.

dealer offered to buy mine outright for 9,500

i didnt even have to buy a car from them, they told me they couldnt keep used yari in stock

i put on a good amount of miles since then but i still think the car could fetch top dollar when im ready to trade in or sell

Fitzgerald of Lakeforest a Manutal Lifback with Power Package, and it was $13,654... IT just sold 3 weeks ago. They're out there. You're talking about a sub-compact that competes with the Hyundai accent. There's also very little information on the depreciation and longevity of the Yaris Liftback OR sedan. It's a newer vehicle...

That's true of Yarii that are 1 or 2 old. They fly off the lots here too. I don't know about older Yarii though.
