I was surfing the internet and found this site that has various turbo kits, turbo manifold and downpipes, yes including for yaris:drool:. Have u guys heard about this company. heres the link.http://www.zageturbo.com.

The prices are pretty good too. I send them an e-mail for the prices and they told me:
1)Turbo kit=$1600
2)turbo manifold=$150
3)Downpipe=$120

What do u think about the prices and the site.:w00t::headbang::w00t:

It's going to be trial by fire. Nobody trusts it because of the poor quality of the turbos. Try it and see if they give out its only 270 rather than 5k on a new block.

I personally don't think they could fuck up a manifold and downpipe too badly. I personally would buy those 2 parts and then get a good quality turbo and piece it together from there.

Theres only 1 turbo manufacture I would truly trust and their name is Garrett.

The worst case is that the turbo will go bad... that could happen in 1 month or 1 year. Enough time for you save for a replacement/upgraded turbo...

Go for it....

i would love a turbo kit, do the turbo being crammed in the back of the yaris cause a problem with heat?

My yaris has a 140 mile total commute daily...So a turbo is a something I dont want to play around with. If anybody actually uses and zage parts and/or combines them with another turbo then let me know cause blitz compressors are looking better and better.

 What kind of retard could fuck up those 2 parts? No moving parts, just piping.

hahahah Garm, i think you are doing a reverse psychology thing... its been like 4 months and no ones bought one of these crap kits yet...or they did and just don't want us to know

mikenacarato

actually you can mess up piping. the manifold could be made incorectly and warp (ive had it happen). when the manifold heats up it expands and if not installed correctly too it will crack and warp. as far as the downpipe is concerned, if theres and bad welding there could be leftover stuff sticking out in the downpipe causing bad flow. not too serious but it can affect it.

im not talking bad about anyone. im just saying it is possible to mess those two parts up too. and im not basing this off a honda or any car for that matter. its for everything. im not trying to dissuade anyone to do anything...i would love to go turbo as well.

well i was just saying for anyone that reads the forum i didnt meant anything to you, i was just saying cause honda tuners surprise me all the time from day to day but there are people that are "toyota is the best," only "toyota for me," cause i know one and it gets in my nerves cause i respect everyone and every choice that people do & believe. i love nissans but all cars are tight in there unique ways, strengths, possible ways to set up. and honda are great i love there vtec wish i had something like that in my yaris.:drool::drool:

i try to think like them honda foos but to me they are in another level... but yeah vvt-i is tight love the way it adjust to mods its not a right away bolt on parts the computer like plays with the new mods and tunes itself have you noticed that???

well i will in 3 weeks or so. im still waiting on my car to come in. i have noticed it on other cars ive toyed with though. a lot of these obd2 cars have self adapting fuel maps to your driving style. of course they wont agressively tune it but just slightly.

guys,
I've had my 06 A/T yaris done with Zage, on May 08, during the 21,000km. Now it's already 9-months with an additional 7,000km.

It got me a 155whp with 0.35bar boost.
Good enough.
with max top speed of 195 kph.
Good enough.

It cost me USD 3,500 along with a Dastek Unichip. I'd say it's worth the money.
Good enough.

Totally worth it for you -- but the tuning is not the same for USDM cars, and there are VERY few Unichip tuners here. Our problem is how to get the car properly tuned to make boosted power that is safe and reliable.

Old post, but now that I think of it this isn't true at all. Go on YouTube and search Zage Yaris. You'll find a bunch of videos of people having fun.

talking about safe and reliable ...
when ego are on the loose, I've lost track of the RPM ...
can I fatally blow my engine if revving too long on the limit?
just a thought that flashes when a Civic is hassling me this afternoon.
It cost me my ego ...
