theftlock/passkey on liftbacks??

About to install the remote start i ripped out of my cavi(couldnt get passlock to bypass anyways!) so does the yaris have any sort of anti-theft crap i need to TRY and bypass?

You don't need the passlock. Are you installing the remote start yourself?

yes i have a viper 2 way pager that i took out of my old car that i installed myself previously. I never could get the passlock to bypass on that car so hopefully this one wont be as hard. i read the manual and it said it has a ID thing in the rubber of the key.so what will i need to do to install the remote start
