2 Yaris's meet at Summit Racing in Tallmadge, Ohio (ChinoCharles and Ryank)

So I needed to buy a tachometer for the Yaris. I pmed ChinoCharles, knowing that he lives fairly close to Summit Racing Equipment in Tallmadge, and asked him if he would like to meet me. He agreed to meet me there on Sunday, 10/19.

I drove up (about an hour drive), and he helped me pick out a tach (which I installed when I got home). Afterwards we went to McDonalds to grab a bite to eat, and parted our ways after that. (and after he slaughtered a bee with his hat.. haha)

Charles is a very cool guy to meet and talk with! :thumbsup:

His is the one with the blue stripe on the side.

Awesome man! We lack local people around us. I'm about 45 minutes south of Akron but am willing to drive up there whenever something is going down!

Also, we have a local car club down here that meets every night if you ever wanted to come, or you and Charles. That would be awesome. :wink:

Good times man. By the way, I still haven't changed my damn oil! Oops! Cool to see I've got another member in spitting distance too... Ohio does the Yaris thing pretty big.

Hopefully I'll have the retrofit done this week. I got me a big old box of wires!

I put the replica RS tails on last night. Putting the Nitto axle-back on tonight. RS spoiler on Friday. TRD Short shifter kit as soon as Garm ships it. (HURRY UP! :laugh:), and a Weapon R Dragon intake on Monday.

It'll be ALMOST as grown up as Charles's. Minus all the cool engine shit that I'm not going to do. :brokenheart:

#2 will most likely be the case. There's a few turbo civics. A s/c CRX. An '01 Miata... and a few pieces of rice. Nothing too special.

Occasionally that skyline will come. or there's 2 turbo 240's around.

I can sort of see ChinoCharles's tach, but would like one from inside as well.

Also, could you post a chart of what the RPMs are at different speeds?
I remember reading somewhere, maybe in the owner's manual, of what speeds
to shift at, but until I get a tach, it would be nice to know what the RPMs
are when shifting at speeds. :smile:
