Looking to buy an exhaust bumper guard. Or if anyone knows who sells any?

Not looking for carbon fiber because it's too expensive.

Here are some pictures of what I am looking for.

Yeah I will. The only ones I've found so far are for Evo's. Which are $130 a pop. Way too much for me.

Haven't seen that for the Yaris, good idea to produce one.

Anyone ask TK-421 if he can make them?

Just PM'd him.

And I'd want non-carbon fiber. Although I know you'd want CF.

Looks doable. Do you have any installed pics? It would really help in order to determine the actual dimensions... I'm calling my fabricator right now anyway to ask him

No I don't have any pics. I could get a few on an Evo or something, seems to be about all they make them for.

Also, my exhaust tip I believe comes out to be 4". It's the Nitto axle-back that Garm just sold me.

Thanks!

TK-421- Something like this.

If you need a tester, I'm willing to chop up my bumper and put one on.

Let me know what you find, my exhaust is actually scraping on certain points of the freeway... (80-90 mph with your new $250 exhaust smacking the pavement isn't a good feeling! :frown:)

Our bumpers don't exactly have a bump. You'd have to drill to get that hump style, and get a custom exhaust work. Because every exhaust for the Yaris sits lower than the bumper. Unless I'm missing something..

The Nitto would be up in the bumper if you didn't buy longer hangers for it. And that's what I have.

And I don't mind the style of the bumper guard, just need something to hide the battle scars of cutting the bumper. And also providing a little protection to not melt the thin plastic left over by cutting it.

How many people are interested as of right now? I'd like to get a list going to see if I can get this fabbed up.

Dude, I'd totally be up for one of these. Alllllllllthough, I'm one of those people that would prefer carbon fiber ;)

^ not bad. I think I'll buy some of that to see if I can form it with a heat gun. If it fails, then I'm out only $12 and I'll wait for TK to possibly fab one of these up. Thanks Tamago
