I get passed on the highway all the time -- by Priuses. It happens almost every day to me. Part of me dies inside every time it happens.

And I routinely do drive 55mph on the highway, but the past few days I've been waking up late and doing 70mph -- still being passed. Was passed by a blue one today that was weaving in and out of traffic.

Don't give them much thought except when they hog the passing lane. When they pass me, which is rare because there are so damn few of them around here, I don't sweat it - it's not my money being wasted on fuel and pounding those poor little electric motors.

It dosn't matter how fast you drive. Someone will want to pass. The only time people drive under the speed limit is when there is a traffic jam.

well, since I don't drive for mileage (gasp) then consider everything evened out - I pass Priii (?!) all the time. I try to buzz by any compact car or hybrid.

My grey beard comes off every 5 years. And I hate it until it grows back. Mostly I have to admit I just hate shaving...:smile:

I do 65-70 and get passed by almost everyone. The limit here is 65, I wish they would make it 55 so I could get better mileage without geting honked at.

Sorry but my wifes Prius was FASTER.......And..Still...GOT BETTER MPG than my stock Yaris ! ! ! ! ! ! All people feel silly when being passed by a PrYus

here in Florida if you are not going 15mph OVER the speed limit you get passed as if you were tied to a stump! But I never have a problem keepin up! :biggrin:

No, no they're not. They're a reminder to all of the kids out there that you're an old geezer. Ditto for thirty and forty something women who want someone who won't vapor lock inflagrente delicto.

I speak as someone who if I bother to dye my hair and exercise just enough can easily pass as a thirty something man. Under the skin I'm still a young man, but on the surface if I don't TCB I look my age.

Failure to TCB gets me wise cracks from coworkers about needing "viagra" and getting called "Sir" by young ladies.
