Door Sill Protectors for '09 non-S 5-door LB?

Anyone know if Toyota has released door sill protectors for the '09 5-door LBs yet?

Canada stopped selling the door sill protectors. I was so made.

And the US had only the 3 door hatches (I have a 5 door).

Maybe now that the US has a 5 door Yaris, they will soon release the door sills for it, and I can FINALLY get them for my cdn yaris!! *YAY*

Ya unfortionatly they cancelled them all around up here in canada, too many complaints of the 3M tape not holding them on after repeated cold/heat/wear.

Great, was looking forward to getting a set for my 5-door LB. :frown:

Found out today that they don't have mud-guards for the 5-door LB either. One of the parts they agreed to get for me during negotiations and signed for in my contract were the mud guards. The guy in the parts department tried to order them today, but couldn't. He said they weren't available. I told him that it's one of the available options when configuring a 5-door LB on Toyota.com and he said they may not make them available as an add-on until after the backlog of orders Toyota has for Yarii are filled or something like that.

Mud gaurds should be the same as the three door,they are here in New Zealand .:thumbsup:

Should be able to get them out of Taiwan or Thailand, where they've always had the 5 door model with the Yaris nameplate.

Really!?!? Thats the reason... makes me wonder if its worth the investment then... if the tape isnt going to hold them on proper... Thanks for posting. Valuable insight for me. Appreciated.

I had the sill protectors on my '07 LB. Put them on the day I got the car (Aug. 31, '06) and never had any problems with them...

This is paint protection film/folie, not metall/plastic door sills. You migt send an email and ask whether they can send to the US. I guess it's no problem.

OK...bringin' this thing back from the dead. I have a 4 door LB and it appears Toyota does not offer the sill protectors for it in the US. So here's my question...does anyone have a good pic of these on a 3-door hatch? I want to see if they will work on my front door sills only...I don't care about the rear.
