Yeah, got a bit lazy to finish writing up, and the last few days there were quite a rush actually!

Day 7
We went to visit a couple, Hans and Noeline, who used to look after me when I was a wee baby... Their son Jean Francois (JF for short) was like a brother to me, though he was working that day, his wife and baby son were there

We ate goose, fresh from the garden! And juicy strawberries too....

Today, a very typical French sunday lunch which started at 12:00 and finished at 5PM...

There were a lot of old friends of my mom and aunt, and both my cousins (the lunch was also a pre-celebration of my younger cousin's 16th birthday which is on the 12th)

It was a lot of fun, three of the guys there were real jokers so we were laughing all the time, I almost choked on my glass of wine at one point!

My mom prepared some of her famous chocolate mousse...

Not much to write about, spend most of the day at my aunt's place, catching up on some work.

In the late afternoon we took the scenic route over to St Denis, the capital city of the island, as we had a dinner there in the evening.

After trying to find a parking place for a looong time (the streets are very old, small and narrow, utterly unable to keep up with the rise in automobile ownership), we went to the newly opened Virgin Megastore... My mom wanted to get a CD...

They sure like small cars around here, after all, streets are really narrow and parking space is hard to find...

I don't generally remember dreams, but this one was just really vivid and weird, and long.

It starts off, I'm here in Reunion, with a bunch of people in a Jeep going along a mountain track... Then we get up to a cliff, and we end up pushing the jeep up the cliff, and I remember the driver saying something like, we'll be the only ones coming this way!

Up and over the ledge, there's a motorshow.. So I'm walking around and there's some really weird stuff like a V8 engine...
