Glad it worked out well for you. Yes it definitely changes the pedal feel and you'll notice the brakes seem to grab quicker since the rears engage earlier.

The rear auto brake adjust is so poor in drum brakes that is why rear shoes virtually never wear on small cars, they pretty much never get used unless you slam on the brakes. I always adjust them to where I can barely get the drum back on and it doesn't turn freely. It is definitely more aggresive than necessary and it wears my shoes down quicker but after 100km or so and some extra heat on the drums the lads wear themself to an appropriate level. I usually only have 1-3 clicks max on my e brake and it holds my car fine on a slope. I find this starts to change every 6 months or so, so when I swap my winter tires on and off I adjust the rears. Seems to work well time wise.

I did what you mentioned about drums.I removed after work today and turned star wheel untill the pads rubbed slightly.100% better know,3 clicks on the E-brake and rock solid...had seven before. The car rolls without resistance so I did not bring the pads out too far.

    Great tip and thanks again.

P.S the brake pedal feels better know aswell as I dont need to push down as far.
