Crankyoldman, Help! '08 Yaris 2D htch, 5MT, Blitz S'charger, fuel contrler, in ex. cond. low mi. Car loved, & maint! Has mild detonation only cruising very lt. throttle at 58+mph. Repl. spark plugs with colder ones. No change! Tried everything! Recently, added wideband gauge by Automtv. Still, in boost, the car goes lean; worries me! I read that I need to change the fuel injectors to the green one's from the 1.8L Corolla motor. Done! Car is MUCH stronger w/boost, but wideband gauge still shows lean w/boost. When I hit boost, the AFR mv do not change much. Might go from 14.8 or 14.9 down to 14.7. Not much change. PLEASE tell what I can do? Need a slight richer fuel mixt. w/boost. Car's ECU compensates for any fuel increase. Maybe my Blitz piggyback fuel controller defective? Not sure. I would love to purchase another one. Any for sale? Am lost! Can you please help?
