I purchased the Metra double din kit and had the unit installed and wired by a professional. It trims out flawlessly. Looks "factory". I'm not sure if my car audio shop had the wiring harness, but I don't believe it comes with one. I will say I'm really happy with the unit. The only complaint I have is that it's a little slow with the usb interface controlling my Ipod Touch. It also will not display the lp artwork from my Ipod even when I use the Ipod cable that interfaces to the "AV" inputs. The display looks amazing with DVD's. Also, my motion sensor stopped working just a few months after the install. All in all I'd give it a 8 out of ten.

hey i was wondering about your JVC KW-AVX810 HU because im about to get one. How was the install did u just get a wiring harness from best buy or a store like that and hook it up. And does it fit with the factory brackets or do u have to buy a kit for it Plz let me know
