Looks mighty fine in silver. Has a strange gun metal flake?

birdy 01-18-2006 08:55 PM

hey can somebody get a pic of the yaris with a person standing next to it?

hhcchen 01-19-2006 12:30 AM

amazing...
the yaris looks bigger than the camry...
that camry looks in mint condition... good job keeping your cars...

swng 01-19-2006 12:51 AM

Nice cars! One thing for sure, the Yaris is taller than the Camry. I presume that the Camry has a lot of miles on it and is still going strong.

as400g33k 01-19-2006 05:19 PM

tnx! the yaris is taller at the moment cos its got stock springs and wheels. changing those will lower it significantly i guess.

that camry has 210,000+ kms on it now and hasn't had any problems. last november, drove it from adelaide to sydney and back in a 3,000 km journey without any problems (except for a battery change, that is).

Yours is the first bayou blue Yaris I have ever seen on any forum. It certainly looks very nice. Frankly, I saw one at the dealer's lot about two months ago but was not too impressed by it. However, your pictures show that bayou blue can be a brilliant color too. I have changed my opinion completely. Happy motoring!

Forgot to ask about the nice looking alloy wheels. Are they an option offered by Toyota or have you bought them from an outside source? Oh, just found the answer I wanted from the "Lets talk wheels" thread. Again, nice wheels!

I gotta tell ya that bayou blue didn't really thrill me either. After looking at few colors I decided on red. Then I saw a black one and changed my mind. The black with the options I wanted would have taken more than a month to get, the red about 3 weeks. Then I told the dealer to try either bright blue or bayou blue. I was hoping on the bright blue. Wouldn't ya know that the bayou was available in about a day. Should have waited for the black. Anyway my wife and daughter both liked the bayou blue from the start, so it kinda turned out O.K.

Hey echo hrs, where do you get Zaino Z2? Is it a wax or a cleaner and how to apply, with a high speed or orbital?

AngryBusDriver 02-03-2006 09:03 AM

Here's mine! Taken before the hood deflector went on... sorry about the snow in the pic. But that's canada for you.

I really like the spoiler. That is the Toyota Rally Spoiler?

swng 02-03-2006 09:59 PM

Nice car! I envy you because you seem to have rear mud guards. My RS does not have mud guards. I don't know why.
