Yes, I just keep adjusting it about 1/8th inch at a time. Just enough to silence it. Certainly don't want to trash the alternator or water pump bearings due to extreme belt tension.

Yes, go with the OEM wiper refills. For less than the price of one aftermarket blade you will get Toyota quality refills for both sides. They last longer than most of the aftermarket junk too.
