I tighten the star wheel way up, to where I can barely (if at all) move the wheel, and obviously can't get the drum off in several thousand miles. It has no effect on MPG as far as I can tell.

When I did it, I tightened them to finger tight, then just over a quarter turn past that, to "finger snug with a little leverage".

Use enough anti-seize that it will fill the plug top to bottom...
