Passenger Seat Mod for Sleeping
I'd like to gain some room behind the passenger seat of my 3 door by either modifying the track to allow the P seat to slide more forward, or by swapping out the seat/s for models that have longer, friendlier tracks. The better seats that have been mentioned in this thread are appealing. The reason for all of this is that I'd like to sleep behind the P seat when I'm on road trips, and for that I need another 6 in. or so. Also, what should I do during this work so that I don't screw up the air bag wiring that's under the P seat. I'm a carpenter who's good with tools, but I have very little DIY CAR experience. Thanks, ZZ

I was wondering about the air bag wires when I did it. Nothing too it, just pull them out and isolate/secure them. Then you can drive as normal.
