Radiator fan when you turn on air conditioner?
Hey guys,
Is the radiator fan supposed to turn on when you turn on the air conditioner? This is happening to my yaris |

Mine does. I assume it's to prevent overheating.

It cools the condenser, liquefying the refrigerant. That's what actually dumps the heat from the air it's cooling. It wouldn't work so effectively without the fan.

Yes for AC cooling the AC condenser is ahead of the radiator looks just like one. With no engine driven fan like a standard old fashioned car the AC performance would stink without the fan cutting in.
