Carbon Bonnet
I am currently quoting and waiting for the reply from "Cali Yaris" about shipping the carbon bonnet from US. However, just in case that if there are any shipping problems, does anyone know where can i purchase a carbon bonnet in Australia?

Pretty sure CF bonnets aren't legal in Australia. Haha.

I think from what I read and remember, that 100% Carbon Fibre bonnets are illegal in Aust. But if it's reinforced on the underside by some material (forgot what.. probably fibreglass?) it is ok. Or you can just wrap your hood in CF vinyl? =P

It is illegal here in Australia according to ADR standards, BUT like all illegal things on cars here if you can get an engineering certificate saying that it is road worthy and doesn't compromise the car then it will be OK, but that is just adding more $$ to the budget.... and with the US/AUS dollar being so crap i wouldn't think of buying anything from the States.......

Vinyl is the way to go! go to any sign shop and they'll do the print for your, and go to a shop that willing to put it on for u.
if you know how to put it on the car, its going to cost you $40 just for the material. |
