Fiber/Gas Door? Am I just not wrapped tight, or is this funny in a Monty Python kind of humor.

I hope it's not crap.

Usually you have to drill rivets out. And you can easily get a rivet gun w/some rivets and reattach. Although I don't know about the angle they are at... Dunno if this helps at all.

As the site says "Read Carefully", fits HB only!

Ummmm.....Might want to fire up the "smokey smokey" after you are done with the "FUEL" door. flame.gif

I'm sure you can drill out the rivets and use bolts and nuts in their place.

Not sure of the set up from where I sit but can you peel back the inner fender liner and look aft? You might have a better angle there.

Holy Shi'ite!
You folks are serious? It is simply a stock part, with some carbon twill wrapped over it and clear-coated. So in fact it is HEAVIER than stock by the weight of the carbon and clear-coat.
If it is all "Grade A+" carbon, then it is probably crap, since there is no such grading system for carbon, let alone a color other than black available. All other colors are not carbon - I don't care what the brochure says - they are at the best carbon wrapped in a colored sheath, which adds weight and reduces strength, at the worst they are simply polyester in a twill weave , what everyone thinks of as "carbon" even though it is simply one of hundreds of fabric types available.
Looks? Well, to each his own I'm not blameless in that department myself, but don't kid yourself you're getting anything special there.

Here's a pic of the rivets. Sorry it's so blurry. The head appears to be 1/2" and approx' a 1/16" thick. Maybe someone can i.d. it from this

gas-door1.gif

I hope this helped.
