Arp head studs help!
Hello guys, this is George from Greece.
I need your help with the typical arp nuts problem. I read a topic here about the nuts that needs to be narrowed and the vvti valve. I've already done the nuts so the cams are not touching, but my problem now is how to notch the vvti valve without damaging it to avoid touching the arp on first cylinder side on the intake camshaft. I know I can mix arps with one OEM bolt at that point to avoid notching the solenoid but first I don't want to remove an arp stud for an oem one due to torque specs of each bolt, and second my motor is ready and I'm trying to avoid tearing down again to replace one OEM bolt! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance. |

I've read somewhere to use Toyota Prius C / Aqua VVTi solenoid as it's shorter.
