The bulbs are H4, and so far the best one i've used or nokya i think that how you spell it but the 110/130, But if price is no matter then piaa would be the next best thing. usual u can get both from ebay.

Nokya and Piaa are not true HID lights. They are just bulbs with the blueish white tint to them. I have Helios HIDs in my celica. I am really happy with them and they weren't too expensive. I got the 6000K (more of a blue than white). The only problem with switching to a real HID set up is that with the H4 bulb you will loose your highbeams. Not that you'd really need them with the HIDs installed. You can get a bi-xenon bulb but those are way more expensive.

Well, for the Celica, it is a bit easier to change to xenon, as the Celica is using projector style headlight already, you can just get a xenon projector that fits or modify the housing to fit it.
As for the Yaris, it's using bulbs only, once you switch to a xenon bulb (not projector), you will lose the focus of the headlight as the xenon bulb is a bit longer than regular halogen bulbs... so you will have to make some adjustment if you were to go with the real xenon conversion. ![]() |

I'm just saying that piaa bulbs and nokya bulbs are not true Xenon/HID lights.

Iwould vote for the HIDs, H4, 6000K, >2500 lumens, you should be good. this is what I'll be getting.

I'm thinking of just getting some massive PIAA fog lights that will hopefully fit where the stock "fog lights" go, but will actually be usefull.

Congrats! What brand did you get and where did you get it? I am running Helios HIDs on my celica right now... just trying to decide what to get for my yaris. I have the 6000K. |
