exhaust help :(

A mate of mine is selling his muffler. It came of a Misubishi Magna
Just wanted to know if itll fit the yaris?

Magnaflow stainless rear muffler
Hey all.
The muffler currently has a 2.5" inlet (no flange), and twin tips (2.5" I think)? It's a straight-through item, so will give a nice note and liberate a few kw compared to most factory mufflers.

Has some scrapes on the underside, but they aren't normally visible, and the muffler works fine. Has done approx 30,000km. Being fully stainless there is no rust, and it should last for the life of the car its on.

After $120 for a quick sale, preference given to pickups. They retail for $350 brand new. Pics will come if requested.

Sorry it's pretty filthy, havn't had a chance to clean it. But I'm sure it'll polish up nice and shiny with a bit of elbow grease and metal polish or such (it's stainless after all). There's a bit of scuffing on the the tips and underside of the muffler (not visible unless car is up on a hoist), and the price reflects this. If you are a perfectionist, apprently you can get new tips for not that much cost.

Any help would be awesome

Thanks in advance

In theory sure, but you'll need a good shop to do the tubing to match up to your stock exhaust, and to align the hangers. No sorcery required, just some good welding skills...

You need to know the length of the can, plus the length of the tail pipes. You can't stuff much of a can under the Vitz and come out looking good.

No need to worry about GOOD welds, mate. Even the most expensive made-to-fit exhaust system is welded.
